We have had our pharmaceutical company in India working on perfecting MDAI for a few weeks up to the end of last month. The result of this was a sample of extremely high quality and purity MDAI. On the basis of this sample we ordered a large amount of it which is shipping this week from Mumbai, and so should be with us next week.

The product is brilliant white coloured, fine sparkly crystals - and uniform in both of those attributes across the sample. Upon adding a quantity to a small beaker of water in the lab, it dissolved nearly instantly and left the water completely clear.

This is what high purity MDAI.HCl should look like and behave like. We see some vendors offering a light brown coloured product, (or worse still a dark brown damp substance) but some researchers discovered that a simple solvent wash in the lab removed this colour and turns the crystals white. Thus the original chemist was probably just to lazy too purify their product, and didnt want to lose any weight so they maximise their profits, because that extra weight is the impurities.

We did source a smaller quantity of MDAI earlier this week off a UK supplier to tide us over until the main stock arrives from India next week. Alas the quality was terrible so we are not selling it. So you know what to look out for if you see any of the same batch being sold, it was a mixture of colours from off-white to tan and yellow, different crsytal sizes, with the odd brown/black speckle here and there throughout!

Lab testing indicated it was maybe 50% pure at best. There was no way we would consider selling anything so substandard, it's better to take a hit on it and be out of stock for another week rather than potentially ruining the reputation of the compound and indeed oursevles.

So in short, I truely believe that our customers would rather wait a bit longer and know they are buying MDAI of the highest possibile quality, rarther than receive poor quality product as many researchers are known to have done.
