"Benzo Fury" - the very name conjures up contradictory images of angry researchers experimenting with powerful anxiolytic compounds in their labs.
In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. "Benzo Fury" is actually the brand name of a new research chemical called 6-APB or 1-(benzofuran-6-yl)propan-2-amine.
We are one of the few authorised vendors of this compound produced by the originating laboratory.
Some vendors are marketing a slightly different compound, 6-APDB - 6-(2-Aminopropyl)-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran.
This is not the same chemical as can be seen from the molecule diagrams below:
6-APB / Benzo Fury
6-APDB / We do not supply this!![]()
As can be seen, the difference is very subtle - looking at the big image (the 6-APB / Benzo Fury that we supply) on the furan ring (left hand of the benzene ring), there is a double carbon bond between carbons 2 and 3. On the smaller image of 6-APDB (the one WE DO NOT SUPPLY), there is no double bond, rather pairs of hydrogen atoms on carbons 2 and 3 (you can't see them on the image, they typically aren't shown on molecule diagrams, their presence is assumed).
This seemingley very small difference to the molecule's structure can make big differences to the outcome of laboratory experiments, and hence we recommend that researchers DO NOT purchase 6-APDB. Additionally most of the vendors selling this or purportedly selling this have clearly just jumped on the "Benzo Fury" bandwagon and probably do not have an indepth of knowledge of organic chemistry.
To ensure satisfaction in your laboratory experiments with 6-APB then we recommend you buy benzo fury from reputable suppliers like ourselves.
